Just imagine the joy it would be
If peace came over all the land.
No fighting you would ever see
We could hold each others hand.

Imagine that in just this second
Loved filled each and every soul.
Concern and care filled the planet
And all nations were truly whole.

Now imagine just for an instant
Not seeing color but only the skin.
Feeling the pain and holding hands
Everyone of every nation felt like kin.

Can you imagine for a moment
Accusation and blame would cease.
We would comfort ones lament
Lending a hand in that of peace.

Just imagine in only a heartbeat
All hatred and malice dissolved.
In compassion we filled a need
With wonderful blazing resolve.

Now can you put into motion
In your lifetime this hope can begin.
That at the onset of its inception
It began by your extended hand.
